People from across Telford are coming together to support their neighbours and generously donating food and items that can be called upon by individuals and families in crisis and in desperate need. You can ask for help using our Crisis Network Support Line on 01952 459258.
RBL Support Services are available to people who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces, their dependants and carers. Legionline is open 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week 0808 802 8080 (free from UK landlines and main mobile networks).

The Wrekin Housing Trust is a registered social landlord, established in 1999 when over 13,000 homes were transferred from Telford & Wrekin Council – the country’s largest transfer of homes at that time.
The British Red Cross provides valuable short-term support to vulnerable people, whether they’re recovering from an operation, need a wheelchair or just need help coping around the house.
Telford & Wrekin Council provide a variety of front line services to help people in crisis. From the 1st April things are changing. If you have no money and you need essential items the Council might be able to help. The Crisis Allowance Line is 01952 380400.
Telford & The Wrekin Citizens Advice Bureau covers the whole of the Telford & the Wrekin area and offers a general advice service for walk-in clients and appointments at its main office at 40 Tan Bank in Wellington, and operates a telephone advice service on 0845 146 1554.
As well as working with the GP surgeries across Telford & Wrekin; the Network is able to signpost support offered by the Telford & Wrekin NHS Primary Care Trust. “No-one in the Borough of Telford and Wrekin should need to go without the basic essentials to keep themselves and their families sheltered, fed, clean, clothed, warm and healthy”.
